Trying to get a nice youngstown crew together since the akron kids think no good cars come out of youngstown. last time i was there for a dyno day there were some sick cars. Twin turbo mustang put down like 775 or something. should be a good time and the slowmotion guys are cool as hell.

So, is that 'Shocker Joe' kid a member on here? Kinda curious to see all the pictures from the event.

All in all it was a good time despite some unnessesary rice :P , just very very hot. Some fairly nasty cars done by Slowmotion. I've confirmed my belief on the gayness of a dynapack dynos with the taking forever to load a car, watching them be unstable as hell teetering on 3 floorjacks and trying not to bitch up peoples' rims.

Watched exactly how dead my mustang is ring-wise as it's damn near dead with it's new smoke machine effect....and it's lack of actually getting boost to anything but the crankcase. I think it's past time to retire it for the year. Was kinda miffed at their 'tuner' there though saying 'I think it needs a tune'...lol...fucker has 185k on it and the dyno graph looks like a rollercoaster trying to hold shit down yet my afr's are dead nuts consitant at 11.9 at WOT...yep  I was also a little bummed about them only being able to fill like 2 sec worth of a bottle for Scott's car on the dyno....and how the guy was lost on the concept of a WOT switch...would've had the highest RWHP for the day most likely over a turboed NSX doing 412rwhp on the 'packs'..considering he had bottle from about 3300 to 3700 only on 1 pull. Oh well. I should know better than to bring a blown up s/c'd v8 to an import meet; I sorta felt embaressed, but I told him before they even started that it's cashed and it even comes close to even 350rwhp on the higher reading dynapack right now I'd shit a brick...car's just dead.

Had a SICK full race NSX there that sounded absolutely insane. Some extremely tasteful hatches, a few cool sleeper rides including a ratted out 500hp civic and a nasty little Del Sol. Between the cars, the techno, and the heat I definatlely felt like I was at Race Wars

You better hope that thing doesnt let loose and hurt something you plan on reusing...

Nah, I'm parking that turd and it's not seeing boost at ALL anymore until I get new guts in it.

Going to look at a new daily today....kind of funky looking but a somewhat neat car. 2002 Nissan Maxima. 255 HP, 6spd manual. Charchol over grey leather, factory HIDs, moonroof etc. Should be riding all comfy beating stock LT1s getting fairly decent milage

Naw, it will just get slower and slower, blow more and more smoke, get harder and harder to start, then stop idling well, and more an likely eventually just not start.

Sucks Tom, but at least you got to make it down and back from the event.

Hes dealing with a simlair issue to my engine failures (heavy blow by), however his was not CAS/ECU timing related like mine, slowly melting my pistons and head. You can suck my dick too man think you know it all, you have no idea what happend with my car. I wasnt the one behind the tuning, and found my issue unfortunatly way to late. Sucks for sure, but its part of cars. So keep your ignorant remarks to yourself please.

Well, I can see where he might be getting at, as there's still gotta be shit getting into the oil etc...and my blower shares the source...or if say a ring/land finally fails and comes apart for whatever reason and I munch into the head ...or just any metal in the oil introduced the cam bearings...if for some reason I go 306 and keep my cam.

I will say I already had to run a separator to my MAS as it WAS getting oiled from the blowby and throwing off the tune hard causing a pop and miss which could infact go lean and make boom....I think Cory was mostly just being sarcastic

No need for the banter though...it's getting parked regardless.

maxima's are nice cars.

only downfall is that they suck more gas than everyone says! ;)

The comfort can be well worth it.

Hah, right now it costs me like $12 a day to drive my mustang....it is NOT fun. I think a schoolbus would do me better

Guy ended up getting tied up last night...shooting for tonite for a testdrive.

Well fuck....after the 2nd time this guy flaked out on showing me the car and the non-return of phone calls; I think I'm moving on :( Which really fucking blows as I would've actually really liked owning that. Lame.
