i had thoughts. thoughts about those thoughts. and re thought everything. ive always wanted a mustang. was gonna take out the money in the bank and buy one in the spring but i realized i already have a start. it may be just a grand am, but if i can change it to a sporty look without over doing it and do a few engine mods, thats fine for me. so many people have grand ams. im surprised im the only one of the group to cruise around with one but hey when its all done with, ill have a really nice car, and ill be just a tad bit faster for the moment. to hell with the grand am body kits that all 100 thousand of them have, im going with this that few have and it looks clean. im also in love with that color, but im sticking to black with a red fade maybe :mrgreen:

LOL. id for sure go with black rims. it does remind me of a rocket ship since u mentioned it lol. im about to bust out the fiberglass and get to work on my current bumpers.

stock bodied lowered, maybe front lip FTW on almost EVERY CAR. Body kits are WAY too overplayed and hardly ANY are tastefully put on and tastefully done. Very, Very few kits IMO keep things clean. Ive been seeing more ill fitting, crap paint jobbed kits out there than ever.

Superfly last night had many good examples of nasty kits last night, as well as a few VERY good examples of super clean nicely done cars. One of my fav's out there happened to be a green SI hatch, caged up. Very well done. :thumbsup:

As well as a few very clean terminators, and a few evo's.

i must agree to keep body stockish, work on ur basic mods intake, exhaust, header, jetchips makes a dst for the grand ams i had one and it was nice, and spend some extra money and get a nice exhaust like borela or pacesetter(they have nice headers and offer a catbak that sounds pretty nice)

well even if i did have a body, it wouldnt go on till i had enough for both rims and a a paintjob. was just trying to get it out of the way. i get my first paycheck this upcomin friday and i think i might get an air intake if i can afford one. if not, all the money is being put away until i have enough for the borla 80 series.

if i were to ever do any body kit stuff on my cav it would most likely be a front bumper only if i boosted it so an intercooler could get air to it....and maby the side skirts.. i want something cleaner and less attention grabbing.

i owned both a grand am and a cavi.. the both are cheep entry level cars.. cavi got hella good gas mpg, imo they are equal in comparisons....
