My dad works at GM... last I checked I could get a discount on a new Saab...
When I bought my Mitsu you better bet I parked on the street for quite some time.. once he rode in the car he thought differently though. Once he even helped me change a light bulb! haha. AND I was allowed to change my oil in his garage!
So who knows...

Opposite for me, I was raised to believe that american made cars were crap and that foreign cars were superior.
