Take back the keys!

So last thursady took my tC in to the dealership for some warranty work, no a/c and a rattling sun roof. I got a call on friday saying they fixed the a/c and they would have to order an entire new sunroof assembly and that it would be in on monday. I was told i could either coem get the car or they could keep it till it was done and that it was no problem. So yesterday morning iget a call from boardamn police your car has been broken into at the dealership. My first question was why was it outside over the entie weekend!?!?!?! SO i go up there first they busted thw passenger side window out, stole my jvc double din, my center console,then somehow somebody knew my amps where mounted inside the floor where my spare tire used to be and stole those???? Now I have a dent in pass door and some big scratches here and there. The claimed no responsibility other dropping my a/c charge bill.
So then to top it off once I finally started calming down they called to come pick up my car and that sunroof was done. I go to pick it up guy pulls the car out and get start checkin out the interior. Sure enough theres three spots on the headliner where they strecthed the carpet and you can see the cardboard backer, plus theres black greasey finger prints all over the place. I'm not one to be an irraite customer but I lost it and went off. So know my car is completely trashed and I am disgusted with the dealership.

If it was that Dodge dealer on Mahoning or adjacent lots I'd be hella leery. SAME shit happened to my friends cavalier there, in for repair work and magically left outside and EVERYTHING got stolen.

Might want to consult an attorney.

Ya there was several things that pointed to an inside job not to accuse anyone but the cop even said it was an inside job.

Ya contacting an attorney today, theres no way in hell i'mpaying my deductable i'll tell you that.

Wtf that would definatly put me over the edge. You shouldnt have to pay a dime

i'd let just tell the attorney what happened and let them know that you want the car back in the condition that it was left in and you want all your stuff fixed properly and your also going to pick up a rental car (let them know your gonna park it outside in downtown youngstown) and you expect them to flip the bill till your shit is done and done right.

either way that really sux.

something tells me that it was just out of range of the camera or they weren't on durring the time that the vandal's destroyed the car.

You should watch eBay and Craigslist for the stolen stuff.

Tom makes a very good point here, not saying this is what happened (inside guy stealing your shit), but it wouldnt surprise me.. especially how this economy is.

should try to contact that other kid that it happened to that that guy said he knew, if it was the same dealer...be a better case in court haha

Car was parked at the opposite end of the building by the parts department where there were no cameras???

thats b/s i know the damn cameras at my work catch us doin everything. they were able to see me takin a golf cart back in to the woods and zooming in on my face.

anywhere they park their cars that they "own" or are working on should be under a camera...atleast thats what i would think haha


id bring that up to them to..and say how your subs were basically hidden and noone really new bought them

Dude you fucking pry and do not take any BS. Your car on their property should be safe and protected, bottom line.

i agree them taking the car is there responsibility even more so if they are going to leave it outside.....
