Anyone know any shops that specialize in Nissan and know how to work on a 300zx?

Theres plenty of qualified mechanics around that can work on z's, u could talk to brennen(spelling?) hes the one with the black turbo camaro, he's a mechanic at nissan and he knows his shit

I'd learn myself if I was you. Well unless you have a good deal of money to shell out.

Back in 04 I remember nissan wanted to charge me $950 dollars for new/changing an injector out, fixing my dash lights so they lit up, and fixing my trunk latch with a replacement. It was the best thing that ever happened to me with cars.

I few hours of research/searching on 240sxforums.com and Nasioc then $40.00 dollars at a junkyard and 3 hrs later I fixed it all myself.

Get yourself a set of tools and a service manual. Forums are your friend.

But I need a 1pc driveshaft and lowering springs/shocks installed.
I would attempt it myself but I dont wanna fck up because I have 0 experience, plus I have NO tools whatsoever.

shocks/springs are EASY. i could help you put thoes in. i have the tools.

I dont really "need" one. Though, I got one for a great deal I couldn't pass up. I've had it for over 4 months now and haven't went around to install them. Now that I've got springs/shocks, I figured just install the 1pc driveshaft while im at it.

dont ask brett for help, it'll probably take him 5 weeks to change the springs

Theres nothing to changing a driveshaft out... What kind of shape is the car in? I might be interested in changing these items out for you. I'll be much cheaper than a shop, I can assure you that. I can show you what to do along the way, so next time you can take up the challenge.

driveshaft and shocks/ springs isnt bad at all. Itd be a good learning experience

haha i thought u had something crazy to install, im sure any1 on therse fourms can install the springs and drive shaft with you, if u need help id be glad to help, i vote daves house!

I heard driveshaft is very easy to install, but very time consuming.
But basically, take out the h pipe and there's the driveshaft....dunno whats after that lol.

I hear alot of good reviews about aftermarket driveshafts, like less cabin noise, less vibration. My Z does vibrate very little at 75-80mph which is the average speed i travel on the highway. maybe that would get rid of it. after installing shocks/springs, id have to get an alignment, so thatd help too.

Changing Spring/shocks on our type supension car is super easy. It was actually the first thing I ever did to a car when I was 17ish. Get a FSM and go at it. Took me like 6 hours with a friend helping but it shouldn't take any more than 2 these days

id go with the man that swapped the rb in to a 240... if you go with dave then basically it will be me doing it .( not that i cant do it ) dave will jack the car up in the air and walk away to answer a text and not come back..

That nice certificate dosent mean much. To me the mcctc was a joke. I went there for autobody and have never had a job in the field. I can think of maybe 3 or 4 kid from
my class that do it for a living.

dude when is the last time you got laid? i dont remember one positive post from you on here.............ever. and you not having a job in autobody means nothing. i dont have a job in automotive either but i still learned how to do it. their was a kid in my class that got hired by a new car dealership before he even finished. my point is weather you get a job in the field or not has nothing to do with what you learned.

ive been to mcctc classes.. there a joke.. that paper means nothing to me, but if u claim to know it then i wont argue
