the vette

well most of you have probably heard me talk about the 77 vette but very few if any of you have saw it when i've had it out here. well i was down at my grandma's today and i snapped some pics. its dirty i know. i think most of you know the story of the car. if not i'll post a short version in the morning. here are pics. its stock and all original except the alternater and power brake booster. yes i know it says "care 4 me" in the dust on the hood. no i didnt write it.

That's cool though for what it's worth. It's kinda the peak of the smogged out aneamic corvette era though; but nothing you can't replace.

We just sold ours in July :cry: :cry:

yeah brett lets hear it!! is this the bone stock car im supposed to get crushed by?!?! :lol: :lol: i think id take that thing down with the trailblazer...in fact im goin to the call out thread now!

yeah right. this lost to the vue. never ran it but i looked it up a while ago and i think they run high 15's. lol

well long story short. its not mine. its my uncles. he parked it at my grandma's house in 1985 with 50k mi. and it sat in that same spot burried under shit untill someone finally told me what was under the car cover in 2005. so i got to work. restored it (not much work it was in really good shape.) and got her back on the road. my uncle doesnt even want the car, he lives in tennessee but wont give it away. so it sits at my grandma's house. its away for the season but i'll probably have it out next year. basicly its not mine in any way shape or form. but i'm the one who cares for it. i'm the one who drives it. and i'm the only reason its not rotting away in a corner in my grandma's garage.

no its just been sitting for about a month after my cuz took his g/f out on a date in it and fucked it up somehow. i was just up their to mow her lawn and i snapped some pics. i wash it every time i take it out but i didnt take it out that time. thinking about putting my t/a in her garage this winter and parking the vette in my garage so i can do some work on it. idk though. my t/a could use some work too if im honest. :lol:
