well fuck. someone lied to me about the timing haha. that still fast though for a stock car that heavy. im sure most tuners could be modded to outdue just about any muscle, but wouldnt it be alot more expensive?

Most actual muscle cars from the 70's and such are slow like Brian said, there are high HP numbers but the weight is an issue.

What it boils down to is weight to hp ratio.

IE the Elise that has a toyota celica eninge is fast as hell on a NA low output engine just because there is no weight to the car.

100lbs= 1/10sec in the quarter that is why Tuners go to the CF parts which are strong yet light weight.

i dont see myself going performance anytime soon but where can i learn the ratios and stuff?
