ever notice at dna or anywhere for that matter where people gather around here, you'll see cops just a hundred feet down the street ready to catch speeders? they even had undercovers all around taco bell last year. you think akron police would do the same. it's not like the people running superfly can control what happens outside of that parking lot. and pulling over a person who decides to pull into superfly has no purpose. looks like the police were looking for a way to shut down the event by giving it a bad name.

Called this the first time I went to this event a few years ago, I was disgusted by what I saw and couldn't believe the people who owned that parking lot hadn't shut it down already. Smoking pot, littering like filthy farm animals all over, the idiots pulling out of there pinning it/almost wrecking, the burnouts... sad to see this go, but everything that's just a little bit of good seems to end up ruined sooner or later.

Yeah, I've actually never made it out to Superfly because I'm always working or something on Sundays. It looks like the Eurovagens are going to be having it at their location now at the Rolling Acres Mall. They have the details on their homepage http://www.eurovagens.com/

That's the only problem with the 16-24yo crowd, a lot [not all] have to screw it up for the rest of the people.

how can you say fuck the police? every time i went to superfly, the police were helping with the event. blame it on the people who are spending money building up their cars to go fast, and then getting in and going fast on the streets. just like someone on that forum said, its the 1% that gives the 99% a bad name. the cop pulled over that 1%, but where he did it, he gave them all a bad name because of that kid. its not even the police that shut down the event anyways. and from the sounds of it on that forum, they pulled a last years DNA this year where the people who are supposed to be there making sure nothing goes wrong didnt go, and everyone just meets up and does what they want to do.

I didn't say fuck the police, I said F them. The only way I'd fuck them is if they were the hottie chick type of cops with ballon breasts that strip for cash; but even that goes against my nature.

I went to Superfly at the Rolling Acres mall on Sunday. There was a pretty good turn out. Eurovagens is trying to keep it alive. I'm going to try to make it over when I can but the almost two hour trip is a little tough... :P
