Bored at work

so I did what everybody does when they are bored, started modeling an inline 6 engine on Solidworks!

This is just a start, I have to do some work now but I think I have a new hobby. I still have room to add countless bearings, bolts, studs etc. I know most of the people on this forum are fucking stupid and don't care, but I'll keep updating this as I continue to build the engine.

Nice Animation! I heart solidworks. Want an Rb25 cylinder head to model to add some working valve train? haha. ;)

Thanks, Haha yeah I might need it. It's going to take quite some time to model the head stuffs.

It's a gang of assembly's put together with other assembly's

I'm getting a Solidworks station setup here at home so I'll have all time time in the world to drink beer and solid model pretty soon! So exited! :P

thats good. ive made huge models like that before, and if you dont start by breaking every little tiny piece into its own part and building assemblies you will for sure regret it later.

there are also some pretty cool message boards and websites that have pre-drawn models that may save you some time. standard stuff like bolts, washers and crap.
