O yeah and if anyone asks..... Tell em its a stock 305  Not quite done yet but Im getting real close. Within a week it should be on the road if I keep :wrench:

Flat top pistons. Comp XE274 Cam. Heddman Long tubes , 1.6 Roller rockers, Summit vortec headsport and polish and machine work and comp springs good to .550 lift. Port matched intake. Pushrods springslifters and timing chain are all comp cams.50,000 volt coil. About 9.5:1 compression. I started with a 4 bolt main with no miles on it. And a Demon carb. Should run real good. Thats just the engine. WAY more mods coming. Thats all I can think of right now in the engine. I started it for about 5 secs and it sounded real good.

My buick had a 2 bolt 350 in it and it had a mild build and i had no problems. my z28 has alot more power than the buick and I got lucky with my 4 bolt. I know someone with a 88 GTA with a BIG vortech supercharger on it and he has a 2 bolt 350TPI. Dyno at i think 600 some HP. He had it in the 700hp's and his bottom end is still fine. Its aftermarket but still just a 2 bolt. What year forumla do u have?

94... i'm not looking to go much above 500 hp thought so 2 bolt is plenty.

Yeah u should be fine. I'm no planing on going over 500hp right now but maybe in the future and If i want to I got a block for it. I will still need a forged bottom end but o well. If i need to buy a bottom end then 383 all the way. Ur Formula a 6 speed or auto?

4l60e auto... might just swap a 700R4 or something thats bulletproof and easy build.

700r4 tranys suck. They got bad gear ratios and they burn up. They have a low first gear which is good for when u lauch but when u hit second your RPM's got WAY down. 200r4's have better ratios and can handle a little more power but still not real good with power and overdrive tranys are expensive. If u have under a 3.42 then u could go with a 3 speed like a 350 or a 400 trans are real good with power. but if u have a 3.73 or higher gear ration then it sucks when ur crusin. Look up a 4L80e sway. They use them in big truck that weight like 6000 lbs+ and are meant for towing so in a 3500lbs car with some power would be no problem for it. I'm pretty sure a 700r4 and 4l60e use the same torque convertor if the 700r4 is a 30 spline. 1982-1984 the f bodd's used a 26 spline 700r4 tranny. Im not sure about a higher stall convertor for a 4l80e though. Or u could just go T56 and say screw it.

It might sound kinda stupid but because it matches the roller rockers. U wont see them anyway but blue is also something different. I like how it came out.

For now stock but I want to paint it Vista blue and put some iroc or vette wheels on it. Maybe white racing strips. Something a lil different

90'S vette wheels. I got to drive it today and I just let it idle for about 35mins. It sounds like its goin to SCREAM! I cant wait to start driving it everyday. I was thinking or just painting it like a grey IROC maybe. like this Image

The blue I like is like this Image

Or this Image

I dont know what I like yet but sooner or later i'll probaly paint it. Id rather get my 5 speed for it now and I only got open headers on it so im going to need some exhaust. Its coming pretty good.

Makes me kinda wanna get another 3rdGen... What mufflers you goin with? My Camaro sounded so badass with a dynomax bullet. But I also had TFS heads and a bigger cam. And Id also tell people it was just a 305,ha.
