Ok i just got my car sunday so im trying to get it all cleaned up and fix a few things and today i was pulling my valve cover off and there is that hose that attaches on the left side of the valve cover well when i went to take it off i noticed that at the other end it wasnt connected to anything. Is it supposed to? If so where?
Oh yeah its a 91 Talon TSI AWD...

Hose runs from the left side of the valve cover to the intake pipe. Should be a nipple to connect it to.

Little filter or a catch can....intake drawn will usually leave a little oil in your IC.
Yes, it's on my to-do list with my current

yea DO NOT recirculate it...mine is just goin towards the ground till i get a catch can...make an EGR delete kit while your at it...just need a flat 2x2 gasket and a piece of aluminum...cut to fit, drill the 2 holes and bolt it on

Hell, a $2 in line fuel filter works good as a catch can. I bought one at a swap meet and just put it in line to the intake. Mine never got full of oil. But it was running on a pretty stock 95 gst.
