well they lined up today at quaker and...

Gary snapped this drive shaft on the line and killa went down the track so i would say thats a win for killa none the less


not tryin to dog you either gary... we all would love to see you both go down the track

Too much nawzz for Gary. I do wish you both got off the line better. Better 60 ft for Killa and no breaking for Gary. I smell a rematch in the near future.

Its awesome to see more people racing! I wish I could have been driving my good car this weekend but shit happens.

Nice to meet and talk to a good deal of you this weekend, and there were quite a few people whom were MIA....

Garys ass is most likely being soaked right now while trying to load is car onto a flat bed haha. Ahh man. Get her fixed and spray away!

he never even sprayed. got to the line reved it dumped the clutch and there she blew. haha mabye a street racer but not a track racer

lol, had to get to an internet connection... figured this was gonna be on here lol. nitrous was wired up wrong. i messed up and wired the window switch to provide a ground when the rpms are between 3000-7000 rpm, problem is that i put it on so that it took away the ground when it was between the rpms.... drrr, tried to spray during my burnout and nothing happened

...i guess stock aluminum driveshafts twist and snap in half when you do a 7k clutch drop with a spec stage 5 and 4.56 gears lol. it hooked though, i dont eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeven wanna know what that launch woulda looked like if the shaft didnt break, lol. sure rematch sounds good, better run better than a 12.1 when i get my steel shaft in though (at least killa went more than 20 feet, lol domestic v8s)

steel valley supernats was fun, i was working on my car the whole weekend but still had a blast!

That killa kid is going to need how to learn to drive that thing and get 4 slicks. Not disrespecting the car, but I think he got lucky with the break. 12.1 @ 123 tells it's own story. I guess I don't have anything fast enough yet to toss in the mix though

Agreed with Killa needing more track time, but then again who doesn't? His last pass honestly looked like it was going to be his best 60ft, he ripped off the line spinning... but got too exciting dumping her into 2nd at the tree booging baddd... killing his time as a result.

Its hard to tell from the stands but are you falling out of boost between shifts Dan? I know you spoke of the tune not being finished, so I'm interested in seeing how much/little timing goes into your final tune.

So noone got any video of this? Sounds like it was pretty entertaining.

The cell phone vid is on killa's myspace comment wall. not good quality by any means. he's got both vids from the in car, 1st run facing forward and 2nd run out the back window.

That was his 4th and 5th time dragging the car, so yes, he needs some more track time. Sunday was experimentation for him. 1st run he 2-stepped and dropped the clutch and bogged. Second run he slipped it a lil, spun and short shifted. Sooner or later he'll be cutting 1.7-1.8 60fts and in the mid 11s.

haha. Friday was my first day with the car so i was just putting around breaking in the clutch, saturday and sunday rained for the most part... throw a few grad parties into the mix... ect ect. Anyway, i don't think i know how to drive it good enough yet to track it + i don't have the $ for dr's yet lol. (we all know how pointless it'd be launching it at 5grand with the new close-ratio 6spd and 4.11s on street tires ) I'm basically learning how to drive stick on my current setup anyway, give me a week or two and i'll be there for sure. Hell, i may just wait for our meet in july. we'll see.

well sunday i had calling hours for erikas uncle... started at 1 so i couldn't really make it out sunday at all. But as for saturday, ur right, i coulda made it that day for a bit I'm looking forward to that crux meet in july at quaker tho, I'll be runnin her that day for sure

LOL...yea ill admit i suck at launching. This is the 1st car ive ever had tht i actually have taken to the drag strip! So fridays as long as i get off youll see me at quaker practicing. Rematch...for sure. Gary will be all fixed, ill have my new tune! and some more track time! I got the vids inside cam...will post sooner or lata!

I think they should rematch Saturday at QCR...Killa get your ride ready....its $15 to get in and that includes racing. Should be a fun time.
