Well my car cant exactly fit on a plane easily... its like 1100 miles x 2 so thats 2200/20mpg = 110 gallons needed.. so about 330 bones... not bad. Get a passenger with you and cut that # in half!

In that case, shouldn't this thread be labeled TK2K9?

But you said you couldn't make it until next year, so this thread is worthless pretty much. Not too mention there aren't any Supras in this club anyway..

lol there is always hope.... You don't need to own one to attend. Its primarily Sup's but a ton of other types of cars attend as well.

I believe last years dyno queen was a 1400rwhp viper

You just need to be VERY fast is all, or have a huge dyno-dick.

I'd love to attend....I'm far beyond my old MKIII wich would get laughed out anyhow :P

Nope, Boost Logic won with their 3.4 liter monster at 1441 rwhp. Next up was the RSI Viper at 1362.

Yeah lol, there is some love for the MkIII tho... hah

lol i know... it takes me like half a tank of gas to get to akron right now >.> 3500rpms sitting right on the mechanical secondary kick in, yay gas milage! Thats mostly due to the c4 though.

But honestly, do you really expect me to be able to only cruise all the way to texas?? especially if we're goin down with some other people... I figure i'd prolly get around 15-17mpg?

I went last year. It's a GREAT event.

THE BEST street racing in the country happens down there during this event. You won't a higher concentration of 800hp+ cars in the country other than this weekend.

I was going to go this year, but the local (Cleveland-area) Supra is not finished and that was part of my excitement.

His old street Supra (last year) put down 1132whp or so, with a 3.4 stroker and GT-47. The car was undefeated on the highway (except for one low 8-second AMC hornet) and would maul up on turbo busa's.

You haven't lived until you see how hard it used to rip on the freeway.

His new build is pretty impressive, but it's more of a race car. Big drag radial car hoping to beat up on the drag radial domestic cars up at Milan in Michigan.
96 GST - Formerly 721whp :(

Back to 300whp stock-ish setup.

03 Blk/Blk Z06 - Project 500whp/500wtq - See you in Spring 2009.

oh yeah tons, the couple gt-2's are just amazing. Hennessey brought some very nice vipers as well, especially that black one.
