He most likely removed his heater core in hopes to achieve a 1/10th of a second gain, also it doubles as a heating element when the weather gets cold, and a rear defroster.

technically the 240 is, all 4 cylinders are behind the front rack, therefore the motor is sitting in between the two axles = mid engine. the civic isnt no.

lol actually, according to wikipedia only "true" mid-engine type car is an M4, mid engine AWD.

However, I say if the engine block is between both axles its mid-engine, just some its closer to the back and others the front.

Didn't know they considered most of those cars FMR....

Haha my bad, I wasnt paying attention and thought that it showed both sides of it really clearly and didnt notice the lack of a dump tube opening on one side :oops:
