Take back the keys!

I'm not talking import car people, I'm talking other citizens in other cars. I've found my car pisses off more fellow drivers than anything I've ever driven. I got followed home and BRIGHTED tonight.. oOoOo.

My 240 never made anyone go as crazy mad as my WRX does, and I drove that like a retard. In the WRX I've been followed many times, flicked off, had my life threatened, brake checked, cut off then brake checked, brighted more, beeped at, swerved at.. the list goes on..Oh yeah not to mention I've been pulled over more times in my WRX than almost all my other cars combined. (haven't been ticketed yet in it, but geeze)..

Dave you feel the same way? I don't think ppl like quick four doors or something?

Little edit note, I really don't drive my rex like an idiot either, I generally obey the laws, with an occasional WOT pull every once and a while. WOT pulls are where the majority of my problems come into play Ive noticed... Generally the other party is in no danger, and I'm in a "safe" place, just angry people that feel they need to help enforce the law... HA.

i think its when they see cars like wrx or cars that look modified they see it and imeadiatly think your a dick head so it puts them into ass-mode

i dont drive fast but i give it that WOT pull you speak of all the time but havent ever get any trouble that i can remember... hell , ever time i tak a turn when its snowy out i end up pulling my e-brake and screaming KEN BLOCK WOOO!! and not a person has said anything yet

its probably imports in general, along with the honda guys who probably get pulled over more than anyone in the world... i swear mo got pulled over 3 times a week during the summer

i get ppl pulling up to me asking me whats done to it, to do a burnout/get on it, commenting they like it ect ect...

ive been pulled over a few times doing well over the speed limit, cop lets me off with just a verbal warning telling me to be safe... hell, 3/4 of the time i end up having a conversation with the cop about my car

Fart Cannon = instantly getting shit from everything from ricers, cops, pickup trucks, minivans.....everything. If it's a lowered import, cops will yank you. I used to keep a collection of warnings in my GST. I think I was up to 9 when I sold it last. The Mustang or Trans Am, I could drive like a complete dickhead with no reprocussions. Even driving normally, I never got crap.

I've been pulled over twice in it. Once for leaving a bar at 2:45 am taking my buddy back (basically seeing if I was drinking which I wasn't), and I got one ticket for a failure to stop when I rolled a yellow turning red instead of slamming on my brakes infront of a cop to not go through.

Dunno about the WRX hate. Cory, your car is a little 'loud' between the lights and wheels. I'm sure a closer to stock appearing WRX wouldn't get so much crap. Hell I'd love to have one myself. Having a modded import of any kind is almost a garuntee to catch shit though.

Yeah, well shes in winter mode now, so rocking stockers with SnowSports. But the black headlights I suppose stand out more. My age might have something to do to it as well. If they saw and older guy driving it, and not some "punk kid" maybe they would just look the other way.

I watch these Crown Vic Hoopies and local cruisers struggle in the snow while my little "rice box" just blasts right through it.

On a side note, some girl in a cavalier almost swerved into me on the way to YSU today while i was right next to her, so i guess no love for non muscle domestics lol.

I never have any problems.....and I drive a lot....but if I do pass someone like an ass hole I try not to catch the next light and feel like a dumbass...maybe people like evos better than wrx's?? I haven't been pulled over for anything but no front plate

yeah i get that alot too. brights. the finger. angry looks. exc. and cops love to pull me over. i had a cop pull me over once and he told me that my tail light was broken. i politly imformed him that he was wrong and it wasent broken. lol and all he said was " your right; let me see your drivers license blah blah blah. no ticket just wanted to be a dick......and a diffrent time i got pulled over he said i had my headlights where off. and they where deffinitly on. but anyway he made me wait for a k9 unit and had the dog go through my car for no reason at all. didnt find anything. just saw the temp tags on my t/a and wanted to be a dick.

You must have given him some reason to search your car. An illegal search and seizure will not only lose him his job but he could get jail time himself. You had to have provoked it somehow.

i wasent even smoking a cigarette..... but the dog didnt go in the car. he just walked the dog around the car like sniffing my fenderwells or something. and then opened the driver door and let the dog stick his head in. i guess i exadgerated a lil. still pissed me off though
