Not if all the ceramic has been blown off or the electrodes themselves in worst case. Or if they have little goose bumps on them which is a sign of pre-det/lean condition.
Also pull the turbine housing off and inspect the turbine fins itself....

I'm willing to bet that it was an ignition timing problem that caused extream downward force to the rod before it reached the peak of it's rotation, causing extream stress, bending and ultimatly the explosion.
take pictures of each of the bearing surfaces on the crankshaft as well & the bearings.
