haha yea. :)

I'm gonna have to check out that 240 a little closer next time i see you out.

i put another 30 miles on the car tonight & did a little more tuning. It's cleaning up quite a bit and actually driving pretty well. If this keeps up i'll be ready for the dyno a day ahead of schedule!

saturday is the judgement day!

Dyno'd on saturday morning.

I had to call it quits due to the limitations of the fuel system. I just couldn't get any more out of my 750cc injectors and i'm gonna have to upgrade to 1000's so i can push it a little harder.

I tuned it on pump gas only and this is done on a mustang dyno.

Here ya go.

At first I was like 'damn that comes on late' but then I thought how cool it is to be able to twist that sucker to 9k!

Must feel rediculous up top!

yea.. when i drag race it, i leave the line at 6000rpms & 10-12 lbs of boost at launch. So in that senario, it's no big deal.

On the street, i just have to get into a high rev range, either via downshift or wait a second to spool, from there if i shift at 9k the next gear is entering at about 6500 - 6800ish

Not to bad i guess.

Just gonna have to see if i can nail that 10 sec goal. I'm sure it's gonna take some time to get the suspension tweaked & everything set just right to do it. I believe the car is weighing in around 2400-2500 lbs with me in it, I need to get on a scale for an official weight.

I'm pretty sure I stood next to you Friday night. I have longer blonde hair+glasses. I wasn't very talkative because I really don't know anyone that well yet. And I don't want to be like "HEY EVERYONE I'M THE KID WITH THE GENESIS!" lol

just figured i'd share!!!

Make sure you run the right oil :)

Just because you clearance your motor to the big end of your factory spec's doesn't mean that you should be running super thick oil to compensate, especially when it really hasn't got hot out yet!

Don't worry tho, The crank has been cleaned up already & i'll probably put it back together tomarrow! :) I knew what happened as soon as it began, I knew that sound, and i shut her down on the spot.

Heres the cleaned up re-polished crank:
