Suspect Leaps of 200 foot bridge with police dog in arms!

Postby Rb25Cory » Thu Jan 03, 2008 9:29 am

Here something you dont hear about everyday. Suspect was involved in a hit and run, high speed chase ensues, guy reaches the peak of the Coronado bridge, Police release K9 after him, K9 tackles and bites suspect, the suspect then picks up the dog and leaps off the bridge in to the ocean. Suspect is retrieved and survives, Police dog dies.

He was obviously nuts and survived the 200 foot fall with only a collapsed lung.... go figure...

Damn. He's fucked too, they are probably gonna charge him with killing a police officer, not just a dog. Idiots.

The dog must have leaped onto his arm,arms... It was most likely only 80-90lbs.... Your average Joe can lift one... Bottom line he did it lol.

Maybe he faked it out like in "theres something about Mary" and just turned jumped and followed it down...... Police do lie sometimes. ;)

My friend was in Iraq (she's in the Marines) and is animal crazy. There was a police dog out there with her who responded to German comands. She slept with this dog at night, and one point of the day an iraqi tried to attack their group out in town and this same German Shepard she slept with and lived with ripped out this guys throat in front of everyone on ONE command. They are great family dogs as far as I have heard... But mean ass mofo's when you are on the wrong side...
