1. with a turbo you are at full boost longer. with a supercharger you only at full boost for the split second your at peek rpm's
2. superchargers are belt drivin. the belts can break and cause damage. you would need to replace the belt if it broke. becuase its belt drivin it will take away power and gas milage even at low rpms (just driving around). where a turbo wouldnt.
3. most of the time you get more horsepwoer per pound of boost out of a turbo because its moe efficant.
4. you can build a turbo so boost comes in right when you want it to for better traction and less stress on your drivtrain. with a supercharger your boost is directly running with your rpms.
5. when you shift you boost drops with your rpms in a supercharger and a turbo will still be pretty much spooled. once its back in gear your at full boost a split second later.
