So tonight I noticed a lot of annoying loud, diesel sounding SRT4s out. I stop in a parking lot for a min and an orange one with big blue pillar gauges pulls up to me and says "680?" So we go. First race was a 3way, I kill him and a black evo with like 4 people in it. Second race I kill him again. Third race, I let him get the jump since the first 2 were no competition. He kept about half a car on till about 100 then i started pulling and he let off. We stoped afterword to talk. He says "yeah I missed second gear the first race an fourth gear the second race" How the fuck do you miss second and fourth?? Learn to drive!! But now the best part: I get home and go to close my bottle that my friend opened up for me...and the valve closes after just 2 turns...it was barely open. So I was spraying like a 50 shot if even that. I just laughed and called my friend an idiot. The kid in the srt said he had a FMU and 17psi boost.

The stupid side pipes are kinda lame and annoying... if you have a loud/head turning car it better be fucking fast. 12's-13's are not THAT fast....

I've never ran one. I'd imagine a 230+bhp sport compact isn't very slow at least if it could get traction.

I guess it qualifies as a sedan.

personally Ive never seen one around here run better than a low 13. Id bet with a great driver, minor mods, and d/r's one could prolly go 12's.

Yeah the side exhaust ones piss me off. And how do you miss 2nd gear on a freeway pull? Shouldn't he have already been in second?

I've lost to two serious ones back in the day. Both went low 11's at QRC next to me. One had a 35r one was a 30r on race juice. Neither had a side pipe, very respectable car to lose to.

i happen to like srt4's alot. there is a red one running around i think his name is jeremy its pretty quick.. the lancer is a joke also

Why do people have to make excuses like missing gears. If I had a decently fast car and someone beat me I'd be a man and say, wow good race you got me.

I just wish my bottle had actually been open. I would have annihilated him. I think this SRt4 might have been the one I raced at quacker last month. It ran a 13.8 with a shitty 2.5 60ft, so figure a low 13sec car which aint bad.

watch his headlights guages and taillights. i pull ahead of him at first but then he pulls ahead of me. he won.... lol i want a rematch.

thats about right then if your car was just a stock lt1 and he had the boost cranked up. I might tryin race him again if I see him. I'll make sure my bottles open that time, and bring a camera

i hated these cars until i was around them alot in the recent past. theyre okay i guess. as for that lancer, if its the squeeky one thats always doing burn outs in parking lots and drives around constantly, that car is complete shit even if it is fast which i doubt it. im surprised it lasted this long for how hard he beats on it.

the lancer was the all black one, no emblems, black smoke out the exhaust

the srt4s in pa are nasty..most have stock turbo records..stock internal records all that good shit..they are kinda iffy tohugh in my book

srt 4s are becoming like mustangs. the so called ''badasses'' will have mommy and daddy buy them one and go around acting like a race car driver and the hard ass that they are. or your going to get the right person whos going to make the car respectable. i consider it a trend car.

I used to be a hard ass street racer with my TBSS but two things mommy and daddy didn't pay one cent into it and I actually ran 12's regularly so I guess I'm above the average. LMAO..!

Yeah Im sick of SRT4s too, maybe just because I cant stand know that I would lose to a freaking neon.

I just saw 2 SRT4s today, and a chick was driving one.
I actually saw both of them twice while I was driving around wtf lol.

(just got on it in one gear.) anyway cop saw us and of corse he pulled me over and not him. but he had to be the coolest cop evar. my plates are expired and the whole drag racing on 224. and he let me go!!! no writin warning or anything!!!! i was like . to say the least i'm stricktly on the track from now on. big to one cool ass cop. i want to buy that guy a beer.
