Help my next project(s)!

Postby acvmotorsports » Wed Dec 17, 2008 9:59 am

Who can make a sweeeet rendering of a car I want to build…

I am not particuarly talented in this area, so I am looking for someone that wants to help me create a rendering of a car or two that I want to build.

Any help, input, direction?

Thanks,
Aaron

I could draw up your idea alright, I never really get to much into colors... Shoot me a PM or call me. I'll see what I'm working with.

I can. I have a BFA in Transportation Design.

Chip Foose can suck it ;)

Here's a 2yr old one I did as a favor of a blazer 'to be built'..quality has since gone up :P

I don't know lol. I usually do them as gifts haha.

I am acutally going to be doing an atlantic blue 98 for a friend here for xmas; I suppose I could make a few versions. Unless it's high priority it can be hard for me to find time anymore with the gf thing; but luckily in the winter I'm not out playing with my toys so I've alot more freetime

Wow thanks for the response guys! I just found out I might have some more time than I thought before I need for a rendering - but it depends on which company I am talking with.

How long does somthing like this take? - I am assuming it could depend on how detailed it is?

I will keep you guys posted. By the way, this is for SEMA 09!

Well, If it's a rendering, it can take anywhere from 3-10hrs I guess, depending on exactly how crazy it gets and the level of detail. But for ideas and sketch work it's not that bad at all. I would say a 3-5 day turnaroud would be fair unless I catch a good weekend. I freehand everything, as of late I work off a tablet, but if another medium is nessesary, I can do excellent marker/pastel/colored pencil, guahce, etc. on vellum, marker pad, or canson. Digital media seems to be the canidate of choice these days, and is easiest to make changes along with a copy that never ages.

What type of car/project do you have in mind?

Aaron, I'll shoot you an email over in the morning. Deadlines shouln't be a big deal as we're slow at work this week.

I've done sponsored work for Ford in the past...This should be fun!
