Don't the aftermarket harmonic balancers fuck shit up? I know on a dsm it's a big no-no.

if your crank pulley is just that "a crankn pulley" then no

If your crank pulley also serves as a harmonic balancer then yes it will destory your main bearings & depending on the design of the motor, it can also take out your oil pump, add end play to your crankshaft which would have a negitive effect on clutch components and then on down the line to drivetrain components. Obviously you would notice a main bearing failure before anything else got broke, usually just results in blown motor! :)

Thats bc I have that exhaust leak still some where im not sure if it is in the headers or in the up pipe.
