Steel Valley Nationals

Postby RSbeast » Tue Jun 10, 2008 2:50 pm

So, who else is getting screwed over on the saturday of?

My gf's stupid ass friend decides she's getting married to some dude she's known for 3mos and guess who got suckered into going by the girl

I guess I'll be there friday. I'll be the pissed off looking (read disgusted) kid in the shiny red mustang, spinning his dick off on street tires hoping to run similar to his brothers near stock LS1.

Spend $3.00 on a F/S sign or $3000 on a blower.....that's the real question.

SO, who's all in, or will it be more roll on only 'real men take it to 680' bitching?

Timeslips are always so damn humbling.
It whistles while it WORKS.

I suck.

I'll most likely be there at least 1 day. Wont be running, 240 needs new rings and has much less than acceptable compression. I don't really feel like working on it. Daily driver will be at hand, I'm 95% sure I wont drag it being I need it to take me to school/work everyday. "I cannot afford to break it"

i requested the whole weekend off a month ago

The stang should be running this weekend. Nice new indestructible t-56, but the new motor is gonna have to sit in the garage till winter. Didn't have enough cash to buy all the supporting equipment and i figured i'd rather get some enjoyment out of my car this year so i slammed the old slow 302 back in it. (im actually thankful now that the guy backed out on buying it) I'll mostly likely invest in a set of et streets and beat the fuck out of it at the track all year :D

Good news is i'll actually be able launch the car this year + real tires... Aiming for like 12.80s, we'll see how it goes.
