This car is super fun to drive when the mani isnt cracked ha ha. SS auto crap mani held up for like 3 or 4 months, I lost that bet lol.

Intercoolers = good.
O2 housings = good
turbos = bad.
manifolds = bad.

Yeah we knew they were junk, we just put it on there to see how long it would last. The turbo seems to be holding, but we will have a backup awaiting when this one takes a compelte crap... The funny thing about the mani in the box it says "We sent you the manifold less likely to crack" lol It's all because the weight of the turbo puts so much stress on the runner welds, most people can salvage the manifolds by putting bracing up to the exhaust flange. We just wanted to see how long the "Less likely to crack" mani would hold up. 3 or 4 months is more than I expected, granted there wasnt a day of not beating on the car.

Guy on here broke two manifolds too, bought a 3rd and got it rewelded and reinforced with the support bars u were talking about, been holding fine since then.

hey thanx for all the positive feed back on my car ... yeah the mani choice wasnt so hot but live and learn i guess .... no there not the og's they are the drags version of them but im thinking about selling those and getting the real og's. i have rebuild planned for this winter i just have to find a shop to do it and then a trip to the slow motion and i should be good for next summer :D

bought my turbo from slo mo ....good guys there...........and yes this ss auto shit is crap ,i went through 3 . got the 3rd mani reinforced. all new welds n shit. holds fine going on 5 months.

faack that ssauto mani. mine finally gave in.....again even after bracing it. im sick of buying these stupid mani's but i don't wanna have to redo the down pipe plus ill leave this headache to someone else. :twisted:
